How to work out if your game appeared in Steam's discovery queue
- Go to the Wishes by day page and set the range of your graph to show significant spikes
- Pick the biggest spike and check which dates it began and ended
- Go to the Visits and impressions page and enter those dates into the custom range field of the "visits over time" graph to isolate the spike
- Make sure the Source (to the left of date range) is set to "All Traffic"
- Check the key on the right side of the graph for the "Discovery Queue" traffic source
- If it doesn't appear at all, your game wasn't in the discovery queue at this time
- If it does appear, expand the custom date range until the Discovery Queue line disappears, and you'll know how long it was in the queue
- Repeat the above steps for any other spike to find out if it triggered the discovery queue as well
The Visits and impressions page can be found by appending your game's app ID to this URL:
